Our Involvement

Supporting the Starkey Hearing Foundation

We support the Starkey Hearing Foundation in sharing the gift of better hearing far beyond our office walls. Our community efforts, as well as on-going participation with The Foundation, ensure that every year thousands of less fortunate individuals get the hearing care they may need. We believe hearing is an important gift which allows us to connect not just with the sounds we cherish, but also to each other. Below is more information on the efforts we help impact locally and globally.

About The Foundation

Life is made up of sharing ideas, dreams, and goals. Hearing is vital to that. Giving one person the gift of hearing may seem like a small act of kindness, but it has a compounding effect on the future of our world. That’s what the Starkey Hearing Foundation is all about.

The Foundation is the formalized philanthropic efforts of Starkey Hearing Technologies. Founded in 1984 by William F. Austin, the Foundation started from a simple premise: “Alone we can’t do much. Together we can change the world.”

The Starkey Hearing Foundation uses hearing as a vehicle to reflect caring and improve the lives of individuals, families, and communities worldwide. It does this by conducting missions in the United States and around the globe, providing more than 100,000 hearing aids annually to children and adults in need.

Over the last three decades, the Foundation’s reach has expanded from Minnesota, across the United States, and to more than 100 countries around the world. To date, the Foundation has helped over 1.1 million people. All of this is made possible with the help of thousands of volunteers and supporters. At Natural, we are honored to be a part of that support team.

A portion of every Audibel and Starkey hearing aid we sell goes to the Foundation. That means when you buy a hearing aid at Natural, you’re not only changing your life through better hearing, but you’re also helping change the lives of millions of people here in the US and around the world.
