Mobile Hearing Clinics in Arkansas
Bringing Hearing Care Closer to Your Community
For many people, scheduling a hearing appointment isn’t the difficult part, getting there is. While Natural Hearing Centers has locations throughout Arkansas, some communities are farther from one of our permanent offices than others. Our mobile hearing clinics help bridge that gap by bringing professional hearing care directly to local communities on a regular schedule.
Our mobile clinics are fully equipped to provide hearing care in an environment that is both convenient and comfortable. You’ll receive the same individualized attention and recommendations you would get at one of our offices, making it possible for you to address your hearing concerns without having to travel far.
Our Mobile Hearing Services
Hearing Evaluations
Our goal is to help you better understand your hearing and determine the right treatment to help you communicate better. If you’ve had difficulty following conversations, find yourself turning the TV up louder, or haven’t had your hearing checked in years, then a mobile hearing test is the first step in addressing your hearing concerns.
During your appointment, our licensed hearing care professionals will:
- Talk through your hearing concerns and medical history
- Perform a comprehensive hearing evaluation
- Discuss your results in a clear and concise manner
- Recommend next steps based on your individual hearing needs
Hearing Aid Fittings and Dispensing
A hearing aid fitting is about more than which style you choose. During your visit to one of our pop-up clinics, we can fit and program your hearing aids to make sure they will meet your hearing needs and fit your lifestyle. You’ll leave your appointment with hearing aids that are professionally fit and programmed for you, and the confidence to use and maintain them at home.
We take the time to ensure your hearing aids:
- Fit comfortably throughout the day
- Are programmed to match your unique hearing needs
- Are adjusted to support your lifestyle and listening environments
- Feel easy to use with personalized guidance on operation and care
Hearing Aid Cleaning and Checks
Accumulated earwax and moisture, in addition to other factors, can impact how your hearing aids function over time. Cleaning them at home is a good start, but your hearing aids still need professional cleaning and inspections to keep them functioning properly and to ensure you don’t accidentally damage them by cleaning them incorrectly.
During your appointment, we can:
- Professionally clean your hearing aids
- Inspect them for wear or damage
- Make minor adjustments as needed
- Address common performance concerns
How to Visit a Mobile Hearing Clinic
Find an Upcoming Mobile Clinic
Natural Hearing Centers regularly visits communities throughout Arkansas using a rotating schedule. Most locations are visited every six months, while others are scheduled annually based on community needs.
Each traveling clinic is hosted by a local patient care coordinator and a licensed hearing instrument specialist. Patients may learn about upcoming events through mailers, phone calls, or text reminders for existing patients, or by contacting us directly to ask about upcoming dates.
Schedule Your Visit
Making an appointment is preferred because it allows us to provide each patient with dedicated time and minimized waits. Scheduling ahead also makes it easier to find a time that works best for you. However, we do accept walk-ins if we have availability.
Is Visiting Our Mobile Hearing Clinics Right for You?
Our traveling hearing clinics were created to provide better access to professional hearing care for those in more rural areas of Arkansas. If traveling to one of our permanent offices isn’t feasible, visiting a mobile clinic means you get personalized hearing services closer to home without sacrificing the quality of your care.
Whether you need to book your first hearing evaluation, get a hearing aid fitting, or are due for a routine follow-up appointment, our mobile clinics are especially beneficial for individuals living in rural communities or who prefer receiving care closer to home.
Continuing Your Care After a Mobile Clinic Visit
For many patients, a pop-up hearing clinic provides everything they need, but if you require additional treatment or ongoing follow-ups, we’ll connect you with the nearest NHC permanent location so you can continue your care.
Because our mobile clinics are part of Natural Hearing Centers, your care can continue with the same patient-focused approach and access to additional hearing services available at our brick-and-mortar offices. Whether you need ongoing hearing aid support, additional testing, or long-term hearing care, we’ll help make the transition to a permanent location as smooth and convenient as possible. You can still visit a mobile clinic whenever they’re in your area.
Mobile Hearing Clinics: Care That Comes to Your Community
We believe everyone deserves access to healthcare, and your hearing is an important part of that. Location shouldn’t get in the way of you getting the care you need if you’re dealing with hearing loss, that’s why we offer mobile clinics. We go where there are ears in need.
The mobile clinic schedule can change throughout the year, so if you’re interested in scheduling an appointment, contact Natural Hearing Centers to find out when we’ll be in your area. Our team can let you know about upcoming clinic dates, answer your questions about the services available at the event, and help you reserve an appointment that fits your schedule.
Due to the limited nature of our mobile clinics, appointments can fill quickly. We encourage scheduling in advance whenever possible. Walk-ins are welcome when availability allows, but reserving your visit helps ensure you’ll have dedicated time with one of our licensed hearing care professionals.
